Artwork Meaning
Even when the same icing is given with good intention,
some of our surfaces stay dry while others overflow.
"Cupcakes" centers the idea that we come in different shapes, colors, and flavors.
To be mindful is to tailor… adding more where it’s needed, and less where it isn't.
Same for all is equality.
Enough for each is equity.

My work was to visualize "what equity, visibility, and diversity look like"
for the newly launched Patient Outreach & Belonging Center at Cleveland Clinic.
By keeping the topic light and warm to create a welcoming experience for everyone, I believe the show softened the clinic’s atmosphere and also helped me appreciate the many ways art may support doctors, staff, and patients. Happy doctors create happy patients.
